Make it stand out
Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Stephanie (Steph) MacRae
Longevity Client Advisor, LPN
Being the first point of contact on someone’s healthcare journey can be demanding—but for Steph, it’s a privilege. And that mindset shines through in everything she does.
After many years as part of INLIV’s medical team at our WELL Health Medical & Longevity Centre in Calgary, Steph has stepped into a new role that feels like a natural next chapter. With over 20 years of experience in healthcare, as a Licensed Practical Nurse, phlebotomist, educator, and leader, she now helps guide clients through our Longevity+ programs across Canada.
Born in Calgary and raised in Okotoks, Steph completed her medical training at Bow Valley College and gained valuable hands-on experience in small rural hospitals in Black Diamond. “In smaller hospitals, there weren’t specialized teams like cardiology or surgery — we were the team,” she explains. “Whatever came through the doors, we handled it. It taught me to be adaptable, resourceful, and confident in managing whatever came my way.”
A natural teacher, Steph eventually moved into education, becoming an instructor and facilitator at Columbia College, where she taught in the Health Care Aide and Licensed Practical Nurse programs. She also led Medical Office Assistant and Unit Clerk courses at the Academy of Learning in High River, and tutored students in anatomy, physiology, and pathology at MaKami College.
Her path to INLIV was sparked by her family’s experience. With her sister and father both working in Alberta’s oil and gas industry, they’d been sent to INLIV through their companies for proactive health assessments. “They raved about their experiences and that inspired me to apply.”
Over the years, Steph has served in a variety of roles at INLIV, and now as Client Advisor for the WELL Longevity+ programs, she helps people navigate which programs will best meet their needs. “My role is really about listening first—understanding where someone’s coming from, what matters to them—and then helping guide them with the right information and support. Every person is unique, so the approach has to be just as personal.”
Steph is naturally curious and always diving into research. Like many of her clients, she prefers things to be simplified and connected to something familiar first—because that’s what makes complex ideas easier to understand and apply. That clarity, paired with her warmth and knowledge, makes her a trusted guide.
She’s passionate about the proactive nature of Longevity+. “I love that I’m using my background in a setting focused on prevention and wellness. In a hospital, you often meet people when they’re already in crisis. In this role, we’re working to help people avoid that. We’re here to help prevent illness and improve outcomes if illness does set in.”
So, what’s longevity really about? “It’s not about living forever—it’s about feeling strong, healthy, and being able to enjoy what matters most to you —family, travel, and the life you love. When you have a good life, you want it to last as long as possible,” says Steph. “I like to start by getting to know what’s important to you, understanding your goals, your challenges, and what you want for your future. From there, I help you navigate our programs and find the best fit, so you can move forward with the right team behind you.”
Steph is the Longevity Client Advisor for the WELL Health Medical & Longevity Centres in Vancouver, Calgary, and Ottawa.
