WELL Health Medical & Longevity Centre in Vancouver is Renovating

You’re going to notice some changes when visiting the WELL Health Medical & Longevity Centre in Vancouver over the next few months.

In our continuing commitment to provide state-of-the-art technology and medical excellence for all our clients, we are pleased to announce our offices will be undergoing renovations, starting with our Executive Health and Longevity Assessment offices on the third floor. With the popularity of our Longevity+ assessments and the launch of our new 360° Care+ primary care program, we want to ensure our space can better meet the needs of our team and improve the client experience.

Beginning immediately and continuing through October, all clients visiting our offices for programs including Executive Health, Longevity+ services, and 360° Care+ for ongoing care will have their care delivered from temporary offices within our diagnostic centre on the first floor.

We are fortunate to have space within our diagnostic imaging centre to temporarily relocate our third floor team, ensuring our clients can continue their health and wellness journey in the same building they are accustomed to visiting. Our team in the Diagnostic Imaging area is ready to greet all our guests and guide them as needed.

Renovations Are Underway

It has been busy in and around our WELL Health Medical & Longevity Centre at 555 W. 8th Avenue in Vancouver. If you were near our clinic on June 14 & 15, you may have witnessed the cranes and work crews bustling about. First they removed a large window from our third floor space before dismantling and extracting our CT scanner using the crane to cautiously lower it to truck waiting on the street below. We are pleased to report it will now be used for parts to support other medical facilities providing essential CT scans using that technology.

The new CT scanner that was hoisted up to the third floor on that same crane is the most exciting news! Our new state-of-the-art Revolution Frontier Gen 3 machine is equipped to provide our clients with the best CT scanning capability in British Columbia.

Some of the benefits of our new CT scanner include:

  • Enhanced high resolution image quality, reducing the need for additional scans due to inconclusive results

  • Improved detection of smaller abnormalities to allow for quicker identification and intervention to aid in improved outcomes

  • Easier and more comfortable positioning for the client as the machine repositions and adjusts to improve scan quality

  • Provides easier and more effective scanning capability for clients with metal implants

  • Automatically adjusts to ensure the lowest dose of radiation possible for each scan

  • Quieter operation for a better client experience

What To Expect During Your Visit

For your safety and comfort in navigating the new temporary floor plan in our first floor space, you may be escorted by one of our WELL team (known as WELLbeings) to and from the various treatment rooms, as needed. For clients visiting the offices and treatment areas within our Diagnostic Imaging Centre, we will be implementing some new screening questions and protocols for your safety as you travel through the various zones within our first floor space.

During your visit, you may be entering our Diagnostics zone, which requires some additional screening questions to ensure your safety.

Screening questions may include:

  • Is there any chance you may be pregnant?

  • Have you ever been a metal worker, grinder, or welder?

  • Have you ever had a metallic foreign body in your eye?

Do you have any of the following?

  • Cardiac pacemaker

  • Aneurysm clip

  • Neurostimulator

  • Cochlear implants

  • Tattoos or body piercings

  • Stents

  • Other implanted devices or metallic objects in your body?

Our primary goal is always protecting your health and safety in a comfortable and caring environment. We appreciate you adhering to these additional protocols while our renovations are underway and look forward to sharing updates as our new s pace evolves.
