High Altitude Test (HAT)

At elevations above 3,000 metres, oxygen levels drop by 30–40%, which can lead to hypoxia, fatigue, and altitude sickness—factors that can significantly impact safety and performance.

At ReGen, we assess an individual’s health, adaptability, and readiness for high-altitude exposure through a comprehensive series of medical evaluations designed to determine their fitness for such environments.

What To Expect

At ReGen Scientific, our testing components for a High Altitude Test include:

  • Bloodwork
  • Spirometry, Audiology, and Vision Assessments
  • Cardiology Evaluation (Stress Test or Resting ECG)
    • Individuals 45 years and older complete a stress test
    • Individuals under 45 complete a resting ECG
  • Chest X-Ray

When testing is complete, you will have a consultation with Dr. Bekeris to review your results and determine your fitness for high-altitude environments.
