Is Ongoing Care the same as a family doctor?
Yes, you’re paired with a dedicated physician who gets to know you and your full health history, the same continuity you’d expect from a family doctor. The difference is you also have a collaborative team behind them, so if your physician is ever unavailable, someone who already knows your file can step in without missing a beat.
Do you accept insurance?
We don’t bill insurance directly. Our Ongoing Care membership are a private fee. Depending on your benefits or HSA plan, you may be able to submit eligible expenses for reimbursement, though you’ll want to check directly with your provider to confirm what your plan covers. All Ongoing Care members receive a feature sheet outlining exactly what’s insured and what’s uninsured.
What if I need to see my family doctor urgently?
You’re never stuck waiting weeks for something urgent. We offer same-day or next-day appointments, in person or virtually.
Is there a contract, or can I cancel anytime?
Our Ongoing Care memberships run on an annual term. Whether you pay monthly or in full upfront, you’re committing to the full year, reflecting the kind of ongoing relationship this program is built around.
What's are the differences between 360 Care, Preventum, and Precision?
Each Ongoing Care tier serve different purposes. 360 Care is your ongoing primary care relationship, a dedicated physician and collaborative medical team supporting your health throughout the year. 360 Preventum focuses more specifically on prevention and early detection through a comprehensive assessment. 360 Precision goes even further into advanced, personalized health and longevity optimization.
They can also complement one another depending on what you’re looking to achieve. If you’re not sure which is the right fit, speak with an advisor, they can walk you through a recommendation based on your goals.
Can I keep my current specialists?
Yes, of course. Keeping your existing specialist relationships is entirely up to you, we’re here to coordinate around them, not replace them.
Is there a limit on how many doctor's appointments I can have in a year?
If I need lab work done, can it be done on-site?
Yes, most lab work can be done right at our clinics, so you’re not adding another appointment elsewhere just for bloodwork.
How do you help with specialist referrals and coordinating my care?
Our physicians have time to prepare a complete, detailed referral, it gives your file the best chance of moving quickly once it reaches a specialist. From there, our Medical Care Coordination team tracks its status and follows up to keep things moving, so you’re not left wondering where things stand.
Can my whole family join, or is membership per person?
Yes, your whole family is welcome. Get in touch with our team to talk through the best setup for your family.
What happens if I move to a different city, or I'm travelling and need care away from home?
If you’re moving, we’ll help get you onboarded at our clinic in your new city, Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary or Vancouver, so your care doesn’t start over from scratch.
If you’re travelling and need non-emergency care, you can connect with our WELL Medical & Longevity Centre in that area, and the team will get you in with one of our doctors or nurse practitioners. Insured services are still billed through your provincial plan as usual, and behind the scenes, your care team stays in touch with your home clinic so nothing falls through the cracks.
How quickly can I get an appointment after signing up?
Once we’ve received your completed onboarding paperwork, you can typically expect your first appointment within about two weeks, enough time for your care team to properly prepare for your first visit.
Can I use a Health Spending Account or benefits plan for this?
Many benefit and Health Spending Account plans allow you to submit eligible expenses for reimbursement. Coverage varies by provider, so it’s worth checking directly with yours to confirm what’s eligible under your plan.
If I have existing medical records or chronic conditions, how does my care team get up to speed on my history?
Bringing an existing condition into a new care relationship can feel like starting over. Our team works to get your medical records brought over to our clinic, so you’re not repeating your story from scratch.
Your Core Medical Assessment then gives your physician a proactive, up-to-date read on your health, adding a layer on top of your existing medical records.
Is there an age requirement, or can I add children or aging parents to my plan?
There’s no age requirement, aging parents are welcome too. To add children to your plan, we do require at least one adult already enrolled.
